It’s time to start creating in the kitchen with some homemade Asian dumplings and dim sum!

If you’re a fan of yummy doughy, crispy, or golden brown dumplings, you’re going to get a kick out of our private group cooking classes focused on authentic Asian cuisine. Learning a new skill and adding new dishes to your recipe list are a two for one, but what makes this experience even more exciting is getting to have some fun with your friends, family, partner, or coworkers and eating your creations.

Our New York cooking parties are a fabulous way to explore and celebrate the art of food prep, cooking, and plating, which all will be shared with people you love. It’s a great bonding experience that happens over the span of 3 hours, in which you’ll explore three unique dim sum delicacies.

During this cooking class, a private chef will guide you through blending traditional Chinese ingredients, techniques, and cooking utensils to craft unforgettably delicious Asian dumplings & dim sum. We will assist you along the journey of making multiple types of dumplings, which include:

Dim sum dumplings: Delicate dumplings filled with savory pork and flavorful vegetables, which can be steamed or fried, depending on your preference. Opt for soft pillow pockets of perfection or crunchy dumplings, or both if you want to be really adventurous.

Potstickers: Authentic, perfectly fried potstickers that are golden and crispy, and stuffed with pork, chicken, shrimp, and mushrooms.

Jiaozi dumplings: The star of any Chinese New Year celebration, these phenomenal dumplings are said to bring good luck to you in all of your endeavors. They are traditionally filled with chicken and veggies.

Our group cooking and team building activities are not like your average cooking class–at Selfup, your culinary experience will be educational, exciting, fun, and inspiring. CANCELATION POLICY
Cancellation and rescheduling requests can be made up to 30 days before the event. 

If a cancellation or rescheduling request is made within 30 days of the event, we can only issue a 50% store credit.
If a cancellation or rescheduling request is made less than 7 days before the event, no refund or store credit will be issued.
If a guest in the party can no longer come, this is considered a cancellation. Cancellation rules apply to guest count.

Additional Notes:
Maximum number of reschedules for both private and public bookings is limited to 2.

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made in writing via email at support@selfup.com. All phone calls will be redirected to writing an email.

All events which have been rescheduled are no longer eligible for a cancellation. All events to which the guests are 25 minutes late or more will be considering a no show and the ticket cost will be forfeited by the client.
There will be no exceptions to these rules.

If we cancel a class for any reason, we will provide a list of similar times for rescheduling. If this does not suit the guest's needs, Selfup will provide a full refund.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, instructor illness, or low enrollment.
If a participant is unable to attend a class, they may transfer their registration to another person.
